Tang Long – Ladies Only Martial Arts and Fitness

Our Ladies Only Kickboxing and Fitness Classes are non-contact and especially designed to get you in shape, tone up and help you to get to a healthy weight.
Based on our understanding of traditional martial arts and kickboxing we have devised a class that teaches you the basics in self defence whilst also improving your confidence and overall fitness.

Never done it before!
People are always worried that they are out of shape, and haven’t done any kind of exercise for years never mind a martial art but don’t worry.  We start you off with basic warm up exercises to ensure your joints are ready before we start with some stamina training and then the fun stuff!  Our aim is to encourage, motivate and help you to achieve your goals. Once you get started you will find that you naturally start to work that bit harder and you will see a rapid change in your fitness and strength

Tone Up!
Kickboxing is a great way to naturally tone up your thighs, legs, stomach and arms!
Not only that it releases tension and helps you to relax.

Lose Weight
During an average class you can burn between 500-1000 calories per session! So the harder your work, the quicker it comes off. And once it comes off it’s much easier to maintain that weight loss. So not only will you feel great you’ll look great too.

Self Defence/Self Confidence
Starting something new can always be a bit daunting and everybody questions their ability to do it. However once you start on our programme you will find that you gain a better understanding of just how amazing your body is and what it can do. Our clients are always surprised that they have within them the spirit and drive to help them achieve their goals. You will find that your not only will your confidence levels soar but you will also gain peace of mind. Our aim is not to turn you into some fearsome martial artist but to give you the tools to help to protect and defend yourself should the situation arise. The combination of stamina training together with the punching and kicking techniques ensures that you are more aware and better prepared.

Our instructors
Our qualified instructors have been personally trained by Shifu Heng Wei, a 35th Generation Master from Shaolin (China). They are fully insured; CRB checked and are also trained in First Aid/ Health and Safety. They like you started as beginners and have worked through the system so they understand any fears or anxieties you may have.

We are with you every step of the way, encouraging you to achieve your goals. We are sure you will find it a rewarding experience.
